Electric Generator

Electric generator is a tool that produces electric energy from mechanical energy sources, typically by using the induction of electromagnetic. The process is known as a electric power. Despite generator and motor have many similarities, but the motor is a tool that changes the electrical energy into mechanical energy. Encourage electric generators to move electric charge through an external electric circuit, but does not create a power generator that has been in the coil cable.

Development
Before the relationship between electricity and magnets found, generator used the electrostatic principles. Wimshurst machine used induction of electrostatic or “influence”. Van de Graaff generator is using one of two mechanisms:
-Distribution of charge from the high-voltage electrode.
-The charge made by the triboelectric effect using the separation of the two insulator
electrostatic generator is not efficient and useful only for scientific experiments that require high voltage.
Dynamo
Dynamo is the first electric generator that is able to deliver energy to industry, and is still the most important generator that is used in the 21st century. Dynamo electromagnetism uses the principle to change mechanical circle into AC electric.
